We are delighted to invite you to a vibrant celebration of Ganeshotsav, accompanied by an exciting talent show ‘Jallosh‘, on September 15th at Lake Oswego High School.

Event Details: 

📅 Date: 15th September 2024 (Sunday)
⏰ Time: Starting 9am
📍 Venue: Lake Oswego High School (2501 Country Club Rd, Lake Oswego, OR 97034)

Ganesh Aarti will commence sharply at 9:00am followed by prasad distribution

Following Puja : Talent Show ‘Jallosh‘ will start at 10:30am

Lunch: Traditional Maharashtrian Food will be served at 12:30pm

Visarjan & Dhol Tasha Mirawanuk will commence at 2:30pm

This ticket will grant you entry to bappa darshan, pooja, talent show, food & dhol-tasha miravnuk

Member: $15 ( Saving 40% from standard rate )

‘Jallosh’ Entry Form
Talent Show Jallosh ‘Emcee’ Information:
For this year’s Talent show Jallosh, we are looking for two volunteers to Emcee this fun filled event for adults. If you are interested in volunteering for this, please check out the requirements below for this year and send your responses along-with a short video of yourself narrating 4-5 lines excerpt to committee@oregonmm.org by 31st August.Requirements:
  • Volunteers need to be active OMM 2024-25 Members  [Buy Membership Here]
  • Should not already be participants for the Jallosh talent show
  • Develop a script in Marathi along with their emcee partner keeping in mind the language comprehension of the general audience of all ages and backgrounds
  • Should be able to deliver a script in a playful manner along with the partner to keep audience engaged and entertained
  • Collaborate with the OMM Committee to make Jallosh 2024 a successful and enjoyable event
  • We will review the entries and videos immediately after deadline of Aug 31st and select 2 volunteers to start working on emcee script
Disclaimer: While we wish wholeheartedly that every one of our members participate, we are constrained by time and logistical resources. To wit, we will be limiting the entries for up to ‘4‘ on a first come first serve basis. The final decision for selection will be at the sole discretion of OMM EC without exceptions.

मंडळी, we have new set of Dhol Tasha coming to Portland all the way from India! So, below is a form to sign up if you are interested in participating in the miravnuk. Deadline to submit your entry is 31st August.Requirements:
  • Participants need to be active OMM 2024-25 Members [Buy Membership Here]
  • Each participant needs to be present at every single practice
  • Every participant needs to part of a group and have its own group leader
  • Every group will get 15-20 minutes of playing time
  • You can only be part of a single group
  • Group needs to consist of minimum 5 participants
